Hall 4 -The Lake of Idols

Still in the sphere of the religious theme, Hall 4 presents the finds from the great Etruscan votive shrine at Lago degli Idoli on Mount Falterona. The museal display of most of the finds recovered between the 1972 campaign and those of 2003-2007 closes the long chapter of the archaeological investigations at Lago degli Idoli, which began back in 1838 (download the Proceedings of the 2006 Study Day).
